**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Medical Director’s Office, including the use of digital dictation technology and the production, to a high standard, of correspondence, agendas, notes of meetings, reports and presentation material. This will include providing dedicated cover to the Personal Assistants to the Executive Medical Directors.
- Provide a point of contact for the Medical Director’s Office and deal with initial enquiries, exercising judgement as to the appropriate response, and take immediate action if necessary.
- Promote a flexible, team approach by providing cross cover support in the event of the absence of other team members and undertake duties, as required, associated with the Personal Assistants to the Executive Medical Directors, sharing workload during peaks in activity
- Provide dedicated secretarial support to the Deputy Medical Directors including management of their diaries for Medical Director’s Office duties and coordination of clinical duties with their clinical secretary.
- Responsible for administering and co-ordinating specific areas of work for the Deputy Medical Directors.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous secretarial experience
- Previous NHS experience
