**CCTV Operator x 3**

Our client a respected security service provider has instructed Cavendish to source 3 x CCTV Operators for one of their National accounts in Glasgow.

The CCTV Operator will be located within a control room environment monitoring sites remotely throughout the UK to ensure safety of staff and premises.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will embrace the opportunity of working in a control room for a great company.

This position offers excellent progression for someone who is tenacious and career minded.

Hours: 42 hours per week; working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern, day, nights and weekend work.

**Key Requirements**
- Experience of working in a CCTV Control Room or Alarm Receiving Centre
- Experience of monitoring Multi sites for access control, CCTV and Fire Systems
- Excellent communication & administration skills
- Must be punctual and have the ability to react quickly when problems arise.
- Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
- Smart, well-groomed, and confident.
- A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential.
- Good report writing skill essential
- Conflict management aware
- Security systems knowledge
- Telephone/switchboard skills
- Proficient IT literacy would be a requirement i.e. PC/Internet Excel, Word
- Ability to work well under pressure
- CCTV Licence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Confident telephonist, able to relay critical information in real time to emergency services and senior management.
- You will also be able to note accurately any telephone reports/updates that are received, dealing with them in a timely, polite and efficient manner.
- Be flexible and able to work on a shift pattern to ensure 24/7 365 days per year shift patterns are Days, Nights and weekend cover.
- The shift patterns may change with the operational needs of the business; however, the minimum weekly hours are 42 per week.
- To have an in-depth knowledge of Security Systems including perimeter detection and CCTV operation.
- Experienced in the operations of and Alarm Receiving Centre or CCTV control Centre.
- Interrogation of systems and analysis of information.

**Key Incentives**

**£25,950 per annum (£11.85 per hour )**

Guaranteed minimum of 42 hours per week with overtime available.

Additional hours covering on site shift pattern.

You will receive excellent training.

5.6 weeks annual leave and paid bank holidays
