Are you an experienced Production Accounts Payable Assistant with experience gained within TV & Film? Looking for an interesting new project? This is a busy role working on an exciting new Entertainment format being produced by one of the UK most successful indie production company.

This role will sit within the production accounting team for this big budget, non-scripted production, helping to manage, maintain and reconcile the payables ledger.

This role is for 6 months and will work during the whole production phase. However, this is a busy company with a healthy slate and there is potential for the role to be extended. The role will predominantly be office based rather than on set and requires you to be located in their busy Central London offices.

To be suitable you will need to have worked within TV, have production finance experience and a working knowledge of PMI. You will have a confident, approachable/friendly manner, thrive in a busy environment and have a can-do, logical and proactive approach to work.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Full maintenance and reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger for the production
- Process high-volume supplier invoices, working closely with the production to ensure all costs are captured
- Prepare weekly payment runs for suppliers and freelancers
- Supplier statement reconciliation and manage any related queries
- Manage cash float advances and the pre-paid credit card account
- Bi-monthly cash and card reconciliation
- Help to ensure financial and process controls are adhered to
- Assist with the weekly cash forecasts, through the provision of creditor reporting and outgoing payments
- Full ownership of the purchase ledger, investigating unauthorised invoices & past-due balances, discrepancies, and chasing refunds and credit notes when required
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as required
- Previous purchase ledger experience gained within TV/Film/Content production environment
- Experience of PMI (or similar) would be highly beneficial
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal
- Friendly, approachable team player who is able to easily build and foster good working relationships
- Good Excel skills
- Organised, good attention to detail, deadline orientated.
