Settle is a 24/7 site with c120 people producing UHT and Lactose free milk for UK and Export markets. We are searching for somebody who has a forward thinking mindset that will look to continuously improve systems and ways of working along with developing themselves and others around them.

**Key Responsibilities of Role**:
**As part of the site maintenance team, reporting to the M&E Team Leader, your key responsibilities will be to achieve high levels for maintenance, continuous improvement and area standards.**
- Conducts corrective maintenance of building fabrications.
- Routine daily utility checks/operation.
- H&S adhered to and improved across site.
- Permit issuing and contractor control.
- Area standards maintained to audit level.
- Challenges current processes and practices to identify new opportunities.

**Specific tasks of the Role**:

- Site wide buildings maintenance.
- Providing cover within maintenance sub departments, this to include running of effluent treatment plant.
- Completes and updates plant maintenance records complying with all departmental procedures.
- Assist in requirements for Engineering Fork Lift tasks

**Qualifications / Experience Required for the Role**:

- Skilled in buildings maintenance.
- Background of maintaining equipment within a services/utilities environment preferable
- Welding advantageous but not critical
- Has to be able to demonstrate competencies in the area of:

- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Excellent hands on skills Good oral and written communication skills
