Join our dedicated team at Saint Catherines Hospice as a Therapy Assistant and help us support our patients in maximising their potential and enhancing their quality of life. As a Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our skilled Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Teams to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and symptom control.

Your role will involve promoting activity and independence for patients across our in-patient services, Wellbeing service, and in the community. Hours: 22.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the OT/PT teams to deliver patient-centred care aimed at improving quality of life. Conduct clinical duties under the guidance of OT/PT to support rehabilitation and symptom control, working with individuals and groups. Promote activity and independence for patients through tailored interventions.

Assess and treat patients within agreed protocols and frameworks, focusing on patient-specific goals. Independently assess and treat non-complex mobility patients, including taking patient histories, providing walking aids, and conducting stair assessments. Identify and refer patients with increased complexity to qualified staff members for further evaluation. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: A level 3 or equivalent in the related area Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
