An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Team Leader to work within East Dunbartonshire Older Peoples Community Mental Health Service. You will be a first level Registered Mental Health Nurse educated to degree level or equivalent experience including professional development in Older Peoples Mental Health Care.

As an integral member of the Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team the Team Leader has responsibility for clinical nurse leadership and management of the day to day nursing and Occupational Therapy resource.

The post holder will ensure Team quality processes in assessment, risk management and implementation of care using strength based recovery focused approaches in partnership with patients & their carers. The post holder will be responsible for the safe and effective deployment and management of nursing & OT resources as well as supporting the wider CMHT and Senior Nurse/Operational manger.

The post holder will carry a designated caseload and will be able to demonstrate robust assessment and risk management skills with experience of multi-agency working and partnership working.
