Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the North West Division of Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The successful candidate will work as part of the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT) at The Woodlands Resource Centre, Kirkintilloch Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in old age psychiatry and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will work closely with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of older adults with mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient, inpatient, and domiciliary assessment and treatment of older adults with mental health problems
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to deliver comprehensive care
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of older adults with complex mental health needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in audit and quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care
- Full GMC Registration and a license to practise
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
- Higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview
- Equivalent training for non-UK applicants
