You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our Support Worker roles at our Residential Service in King's Heath, Birmingham.
This is a Permanent role, with part or full time contracts available for up to 37.5 hours per week.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loses and learning disabilities and we also have an adjoining flat where we support an individual on a one to one basis.
The people we support live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things. You will support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.

Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language Level 1 or similar is desirable. ( BSL / Makaton etc.) No two days will be the same

**Your duties can include**:
To support individuals / groups within the home, centre and community.
To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
