**Background to the Post**

Warwickshire College Group is one of the main training providers for apprentices employed by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). This role is within the Engineering Apprenticeship and Jaguar Land Rover Department as an administrator for JLR Apprenticeships. The administrator will provide support to the Work Based Learning Managers, Heads of Department/Work Based Learning and the JLR Apprentice Team.

**Essential Attainments**:

- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or Level 2 equivalent qualification.
- Business Administration NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.

**Desirable Attainments**:

- The use of a vehicle of which mileage will be paid for expenses incurred during working duties. The mileage rate is paidat our casual user rate, which is currently 45p per mile.
- A UK driving licence free from major endorsements.

**Essential Key Experiences and Attributes**:

- Skilled in the use of a range of relevant IT software packages including
- Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Experience of secretarial/administrative duties.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Experience of data inputting.
- Experience of administration of government funded programmes.
- Friendly and helpful with an enthusiastic approach to work.
- Meeting deadlines and exercising judgement in taking independent action when required.
- A professional, polite, confident and persistent manner.
- An ability to use own judgement and to make decisions on own initiative.
- An ability to prioritise and work proactively, with little supervision, under pressure and to deadlines.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office and related packages.
- Great attention to detail and ability to work at a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with confidence to a wide range of people at all levels including staff and external contacts.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of Equality and Diversity.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
