**What do we want from you?**

You’ll be expected to keep up to date with the latest developments in the HR industry across the UK and the U.S. We’re looking for someone who can both competently seek out news stories and confidently pitch, plan, and write detailed opinions and analyses for features and long reads. That will also include developing a strong contact book and proactively networking with industry leaders. To thrive in this role, you will need a strong level of autonomy.

**Responsibilities**
- Pitch, plan, and write detailed and compelling features and long-form content for our UK and US audience.
- Build a robust network of contacts that you can rely on for quotes and comment.
- Source speakers for our busy events calendar.
- Host multimedia forums as part of our podcast, webinar, and in-person event programmes.
- Support our content team with responsibilities such as sub-editing.

**Essential skills**
- An impressive history working in B2B journalism.
- Strong writing skills, including impeccable grammar.
- Experience networking and interviewing high-profile business leaders.
- Experience hosting and presenting panels and other live or virtual events.
- Excellent time management ability

**Other skills/experience that are an advantage**
- Knowledge of content management systems and Salesforce
- Experience researching and writing content for a US audience
- Experience with multimedia such as video or podcast content

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Holidays**: 20 days per annum (increases to 25 days with service)

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday (Flexible hours)
