Nexus Modelling Supplies is excited to be recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join its growing team in Northampton.
Nexus was established in 2012 and has gone from strength to strength offering aviation modelling enthusiasts online mail order service via their website, by telephone and by appointment at their Northampton show room.
As a Sales Administrator your primary responsibility will be the maintenance of the company website, our shop front to the world You will also be the first point of contact for customers, and although you don’t need to have a background in modelling or aviation, you will need to be confident manage customer enquiries and point them in the right direction. Over time you will learn more and more about the technical and fascinating world of building models.
**What is required for this role?**
- Experience of, or the ability to learn, updating a retail website with new products and editing existing listings.
- Some experience of stock management and the importance of being organised
- Whilst there is little to no heavy lifting involved, during busy periods you would be expected to help with packing and dispatching goods.
- Outbound calls to customers will have to be made when their order is delayed or cannot be fulfilled to their requirements.
- The team at Nexus is small, so it will be a requirement to support in any customer service, office administration, or sales tasks as and when required.
- Some days are busier than others, so the ability to prioritise workload is really important along side a proactive can-do attitude on quieter days when work won’t be as reactive to customer requirements.
