Job Description Summary

**Job Description**:
Transactional FX (TFX) is the FX associated with any currency conversions derived from customer cross border payments. We to support clients from Retail to Financial Institution's across a whole range of transaction banking products including cross border payments, merchant acquiring, card issuance and cross currency sweeping.
We have an exciting opportunity to join this expanding team at time of real growth. You’ll have a direct hand in crafting and delivering customer propositional improvements and the opportunity to build your CV with significant revenue generating projects.
The question we always ask in TFX is 'how can we be better for our customers'? By joining the team you can help answer that question by:
- Playing a key role in Group partner collaborations (e.g. supporting Merchant Acquiring Dynamic Currency Conversion strategy)- Supporting investment-funded project delivery including client journey enhancements to improve usability (e.g. delivering 130+ currency expansion, CCY accounts into core Galaxy platform)- Using data to define and own growth initiatives to increase conversion rates / revenue (e.g. Reduce Clients' use of competitors)- Building out the Commercial Banking TFX pricing policy, working with front line Sales and Coverage to deliver customer opportunities and enhance share of wallet- Exploring opportunities to benefit from developing industry trends (e.g. blockchain settlements for faster cross border settlements)
What are we looking for
Essential skills:
- Experience in one or more of Foreign Exchange, Merchant Acquiring, International Payments or other Transaction Banking products- Proven track record of delivering change- Impactful oral and written communication- Analytically minded, with ability to interrogate data and formulate opportunities to grow the business- Adept at flexing communication styles for different audiences / topics
Desirable skills:
- Experience working with Business, Corporate and FI customers would be helpful- Awareness of industry organisational change practices
Location
This role is based in London office (10 Gresham St) with flexibility to work from our regional hubs in Bristol, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The team operates a hybrid working pattern with expectation of attending the office at least 2 days per week.
