**Finance & Admin Assistant**

AWA is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy of structural and civil engineers, established in 1987. Operating from both Romsey and Bath offices, their 20-strong team works with an array of clients and provides engineering services across multiple industry sectors.

The role will involve assisting with;
**Finance**
- General finance admin, record keeping and filing
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Credit Control - namely chasing clients for outstanding balances
- Supplier invoices and statement reconciliations

**Admin**
- General office admin, record keeping and filing
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet visitors
- Purchasing
- Team meeting arrangements
- Occasional typing of reports
- Archiving

Any other reasonable duty as requested by your line manager or a member of the Senior Management team.

Attributes required for the role;
- Knowledge of Xero & Microsoft Office (preferred)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Capable of working as a team or independently
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- A flexible attitude to your work and be happy working on both bookkeeping and admin tasks as required.
- Good levels of numerical competency and comfort with double checking your own work
- A proactive problem solver who is well organised and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude.
