**What you'll do**:

- Undertake regular reviews of the performance of sites/offices and depots with regards to meeting our HS&E operating standards and monitoring legal compliance, through site tour inspections and/or audits.
- Undertake site visits to review, accidents, incidents and near-miss events, as well as investigating the causes of these events and identifying root causes and preventative measures.
- Share learnings across projects and business areas within respective areas and contribute to the continuous improvement of the YTLD undertakings.
- Ensure a focus on Priority 5, during all site visits.
- Partake in the review and amendment of EH&S procedures as requested.
- Work alongside operational management to review EH&S performance within areas of responsibility, developing plans to increase performance.
- Work in collaboration with management and front-line staff to drive EH&S best practice increasing performance and legal compliance.

**What you'll need**:

- NEBOSH or equivalent certification (General or Construction).
- Membership to an Environmental Body (preferred).
- Good understanding of EH&S management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- A sound understanding of environmental legislation and impact mitigation.
- Experience in a health, safety and environmental advisory role.
- Experience advising in a multi-site environment.
- Competence in incident investigation.
- Influence and the ability to promote a positive safety culture at all levels.
- A professional approach.
- A High level of employee involvement and interaction.
- A team player who can build and maintain professional relationships.
- The ability to be self-motivated and plan day-to-day activities.
- Well organised and focused.
- Basic IT, communication and report writing skills.
- The ability to talk and listen to others in a professional manner.
