We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Landscape Planner to join a leading national environmental consultancy within their Edinburgh office.

**About the role**:
You will be part of an award-winning team working on an expanding portfolio of challenging and high-profile projects including renewable energy projects (on and offshore wind, and solar PV), grid transmission projects, landscape character and sensitivity assessments, green infrastructure strategies and working with protected landscapes.

Providing strategic support in the management of project outputs and the wider team, there is a great opportunity here for the right person to develop and lead their own project workload.

As Landscape Planner your role will include:

- Project Managing and leading the delivery of a wide range of projects, fulfilling the role of Project Manager
- Providing high quality reporting, and ensuring the deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Line managing/ mentoring consultant (graduate) level colleagues.
- Liaising with and forming a key point of contact for clients, and internal and external team members supporting business development initiatives
- Contributing to tenders and pricing exercises and driving the development of a growing portfolio of work.

**Salary & Benefits**:
Salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus benefits including:

**About you**:
We are seeking Landscape Planners / Landscape Architects with experience in some or all of the following:

- Managing and delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) projects and all related aspects of LVIA
- Landscape Character Assessment (LCA);
- Landscape Sensitivity Studies (LSS);
- Green Infrastructure Strategies;
- Assessment and management of protected landscapes;
- Planning for future landscapes and responding to climate change;
- Landscape design principles and guidance
- Examination / public inquiry / appeal processes, either as an expert witness or supporting others fulfilling this role
- Stakeholder / public consultation and engagement
- Tendering and work-winning

A driving license and your own vehicle will be essential due to travel required for site-based work.
