**The Opportunity**:
At our Filton site in Bristol, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft. Joining a 7-strong Finance Transactions Team, and reporting into the Finance Manager for Treasury, Transaction & Governance, **we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Lead** for a period of 14 months (maternity cover). In this busy and varied role, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the company’s sales ledger, resolving queries and ensuring all customers pay within standard terms. You will help us to provide month end data, as well as maintaining cash collection and provide accurate cash forecasting and bank reconciliation.

**How You'll Contribute**:

- Specifically, you will:
- Post all cash received including customer auto allocation
- Check billing due list and manually post invoices
- Check sales report for any incomplete sales orders
- Support our internal customers: updating the ‘booked and blocked’ spreadsheet and work with Commercial Department to resolve any outstanding invoice issues (logging and checking); this involves:

- maintaining the ‘rejected invoice’ spreadsheet and working with our Commercial Department to resolve all outstanding issues- Generate intercompany recharge invoices; auctioning credit notes as an when required
- Cash Forecasting, perform balance sheet reconciliations & provide Month End reporting
- Perform debtors reconciliation and provide overdue debt information to Commercial Manager
- Provide Intercompany breakdown and statements for sign off
- Resend all rejected invoices each night via SAP; post order related invoices to SAP
- To ensure adequate AR controls are in place and maintained
- Liaise with finance customers including management representatives, internal & external auditors and local users of financial data when appropriate
- Provide cover for SAP Accounts Payable automated payment runs as and when necessary

**Essential**:

- Experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Experience being the ‘go-to’ expert for Accounts Receivable queries; both for more junior team members and non-finance colleagues
- Experience of working within a fast-paced mid to large scale business

**Desirable**:

- AAT Qualification
- Knowledge of working with SAP

**Behavioural Skills required**:

- Ability to communicate across functions and at all levels of the business
- Comfortable multitasking
