The role of the Internal Sales - Timber Products will involve:

- Internal sales position, selling comprehensive range of carcassing timber, pallet and packaging material timber, Canadian lumbar, machined whitewoods, saw milling, block wood, kiln dried decking and fencing timber
- Predominantly selling to housing developers, subcontractors and merchants such as MKM and Jewson’s
- Building relationships and managing existing portfolio of clients
- Carrying out sales admin duties
- A percentage of your time will be spent cold calling and approaching new business
- Liaising with the production department to ensure all sales requirements are met
- 100% office based role work 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales - Timber Products experience with:

- Must have a proven track record in sales, ideally within the timber market sector
- Timber experience isn’t essential would consider other construction related products and outside of the construction industry
- The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
- Confident on the phone, providing good customer service
- Team player with a positive outlook
- IT & PC literate and a competent MS Office user
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Results driven
- Full UK driving license
