**Senstronics** Ltd is an acknowledged leader in the design, development and production of a high stability range of pressure sensing products, that utilise a unique and proprietary thin film technology.
Based in Newton Aycliffe and established in 1999, Senstronics have invested heavily to develop its own state of the art thin film production facility and in-house ASIC design technology.
Senstronics Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join the Supply Chain Team to support and develop improvements in all aspects of the supply, planning and logistics of the sale of transducers.
Excellent organisational skills combined with the ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines and targets is essential.
**Job Purpose**:
To work as an integral part of the Supply Chain Team, alongside the Supply Chain
Manager, Production Controller, buyers and shipping staff, with the aim of achieving, and exceeding, output for ‘On Time Delivery In Full’.
**Main duties and Responsibilities**:
- Creation of shipping documentation
- Expedite any items that are required for urgent shipments working with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Preparation of commercial invoices
- Sales order processing and monitoring
- Issue order books and shipping schedules to customers
- Handling and resolving customer queries
- Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide training for effective implementation
- Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
- Provide manufacturing engineering information and day-to-day production support by answering questions and requests
**Other duties**:
- To undertake any other duties appropriate to the level of the post, as required.
- Knowledge of MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems
- Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced administrative role
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships
- Customer service and relationship management, including management of queries and achievement of resolutions
- Strong team player with the ability to influence and inspire others
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret, analyse and report on data
- Pro-active problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative in designing solutions
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules/deadlines
- Flexible approach to work
- Knowledge of worldwide shipments
- Experience of Standard Operating Procedures and the achievement of effective implementation through training
- Working knowledge of the complexities of a manufacturing supply chain
- Involvement in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
