- Plan and conduct internal audits across Hanson UK to verify implementation of the IMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements
- To carry out other audits as required
- Assist the IMS manager in the on going development and implementation of the IMS system
- Plan and conduct internal audits across Hanson UK to verify implementation of the IMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements
- To work with operational management and agree dates and requirements for undertaking audits
- Carry out the audit, recording results on the appropriate database, and agreeing corrective actions with manager
- Track the implementation and progress of corrective actions and verify suitability where appropriate
- Analyse process and problem data for trends and developing issues, making recommendations on possible corrective and preventive actions. Create and circulate a monthly report to the IMS manager
- Support Heidelberg internal auditing requirements as directed by the IMS manager
- Certified auditor (desired but must be obtained within 1 year of taking role)
- NEBOSH/IEMA Certificate or equivalent (desired but must be obtained within 1 year of taking role)
- NEBOSH/IEMA Diploma or equivalent (desired)
- IOSH/IEMA membership (desired)
