**The job**

We are currently looking for a Senior Regional Partnerships Policy adviser to lead on the development and delivery of policy for regional partnerships. You will do this by crafting and advocating for an ambitious and robust position on partnerships within GBRTT. Leading the Policy team to translate this position into a bespoke partnership agreements that deliver real benefits for partners and customers and creating a simpler, better railway.

This opportunity will allow you to own GBRTT’s policy position on regional partnerships and advocate at senior levels within GBRTT and the Department for Transport to align with government objectives.

This role will give fantastic opportunity to draft partnership principles which will define and guide GBRTT’s partnership with local, regional and devolved authorities and develop models for those partnerships. Utilising inputs from GBRTT colleagues and industry authorities to advise on policy development and decision making

**What you’ll bring**
- Demonstrable experience of developing evidence-based policy proposals in the public or private sector
- Strong interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to interact and maintain credibility with people at all levels across the business and industry stakeholders, including at Executive level
- Proven ability to synthesise complex information, understand and identify risks and opportunities.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple pressures at the same time.
- Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with senior internal and external stakeholders on reform/change projects
