Royston, United Kingdom Direct Tableware Full time

**This role involves placing orders for the procurement of products, working effectively with suppliers and supporting our sales team to meet customer order requirements, coordinating stock to optimum stock fulfilment.**

**Responsibilities**
- Managing the stock inventory, recording items and making orders to meet customers’ needs
- Raising and processing purchase orders in a timely manner
- Working independently to set up new suppliers on the system accurately
- Working within supplier lead times to ensure orders for customer’s needs are met
- Building supplier relationships, negotiating on prices to ensure profit margins for the business.
- Working within agreed service levels for completion of orders and running reports as required.
- Suggesting improvements in buying efficiencies and improving the purchasing process

**About You**

You should have experience of purchasing and procurement, be highly organised, numerate and accurate, with an understanding of Sage 200 and Sage CRM. You will need to be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook and have experience of negotiating and working with suppliers and SLA’s.

**Salary Range** £28,000 - £30,000 - depending on experience

Direct Tableware are a leading supplier of catering equipment for hospitality, we offer a range of products including crockery, glassware, cutlery, buffetware, kitchenware and table accessories.

We work with restaurateurs, hoteliers and food service establishments searching for inspiration and offer an extensive range of products from the best brands and excellent product knowledge and customer service. Our primary function is to ensure our customers receive the products they want when they want them.

We are based in the heart of Royston, **3 minutes walking from the train station** and **5 minutes walking from the main high street**. Alternatively we offer **on-site parking** and are within easy access to Stevenage and Cambridgeshire.
