Contract Co-Ordinator required for our busy client who are located in Royston, just outside Cambridge. This Contract Co-Ordinator role will be an excellent opportunity for our candidate to show off their buying, procurement and co-ordination skills as the role will essentially be assisting the Contracts Managers with new sites coming up in getting all materials procured and ready to go. The ideal candidate for this Contract Co-Ordinator role will have strong communication skills, a background in buying or procurement in construction/civil engineering and a 'roll the sleeves up' attitude to work. Due to the office location a vehicle/drivers licence is required for the right person. 

The ideal candidate for this Contract Co-Ordinator role 

Background of working in the construction or civils industry

Desire for a permanent job - this role will be 3 months temporary and then permanent with a salary of 25-30k for the right person

Experience in contract co-ordination/buying/procurement and a willingness to pick up the phone and call suppliers to negotiate prices and deals for the company

Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills

A drivers licence and vehicle as offices are located outside Royston in the countryside in a lovely office setting

The key duties for this Contract Co-Ordinator role:

Procurement of materials and labour for contracts

Working closely with the Contracts Managers to assist their jobs getting off the ground

Buying and negotiating prices

Working in a busy construction office
