**Job description**:
Work on a small team and provide professional, efficient and customer-focused support to users of the National Police Library.

**Person specification**:
Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Staff the library’s enquiry and issue desk on a rota basis, opening and closing the library and assisting users to provide a quality customer-focused service.
- Shelve library stock and material; refresh displays regularly; repair minor damage and record missing stock; and dispose of redundant material safely in accordance with library procedures to maintain a well-ordered and presented library.
- Provide a full administrative service

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

- Demonstrable experience of providing a customer-focused service
- Experience of communicating in a professional manner with diverse groups of people
- Digital literacy and experienced with using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
