Kenilworth, United Kingdom Team Educate Full time

Team Educate are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with students in a Special School/Alternative Provision setting in the North Warwick area. We would equally love to hear from you if you are a recent graduate in a related field (Psychology, Education Studies, Sociology) and are looking for a challenging and extremely rewarding new role as a Behaviour Mentor.

The Behaviour Support Assistant role will involve working closely with young learners to provide behavioural support, mentoring and coaching. You may be required to work with specific pupils and support them in their lessons to promote academic development, or you may be working 1-to-1 with pupils who follow alternative provision for behaviour coaching. - Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with a range of pupils

**Behaviour Support Assistants will need**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Active listening skills to understand individual pupils' needs and concerns
- Empathy and the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils
- Patience and the ability to provide constructive feedback
- Registration with the DBS Update Service or willingness to process one with Team Educate

**Behaviour Support Assistants working with Team Educate will benefit from**:

- A full-time, long-term contract in a fantastic school that will continue year on year
- Support, advice and guidance from experienced teaching professionals
- A competitive daily pay rate
- A highly rewarding and fulfilling role, supporting pupils who will really benefit from your support and guidance
- Opportunities to secure longer-term employment/ opportunities in other partner schools if desired

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of others by sharing your knowledge, experience, and support. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. If you are passionate about helping young people succeed and thrive, we would love for you to join us and our school in their commitment to providing outstanding learning and behaviour support.
- **What we stand for**:_
- Do you have a friend who may be interested in joining us? We offer £75 for every Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant referral and £150 for every Supply Teacher referral (terms and conditions apply)._

Pay: £86.00-£95.00 per day

Schedule:
