An office role, based in Dorking, Surrey, working as part of a small team. This varied role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual. This post aims to maximise fundraising opportunities for the charity, whilst supporting day-to-day office activities and administration.

This role may also be described as Fundraising Administration; Fundraising Officer; Charity Administrator; Charity Fundraiser; Fundraising Administrator, Administrator.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to supporter enquiries across all media, including information-line (helpline)
- Point of contact for supporter enquiries/requests for fundraising information
- Process and record member data, memberships, gifts and donations on the Society’s Raisers’ Edge and website databases
- Ensure donors/supporters are thanked in a timely fashion and are aware of the impact of their gift
- Provide continued contact for supporters, ensuring an excellent level of communication at all times
- Provide support with local/online group administration
- Promote legacy/will writing information with supporters
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to follow plans/goals and liaise with supporters to maximise fundraising
- Prepare materials/packs for charitable events
- Write creatively for a range of channels and adapt the writing style according to the audience
- Promote Ménière's Society events and sponsored challenges at every opportunity
- Source advertising and sponsorship for the Society’s print/online marketing and events
- Represent the Ménière's Society at support groups and other external events and deliver in-person or online presentations to these groups/events, as required
- Provide administrative support for the charity's annual conference and Balance Awareness Week
- Potential to assist with PR opportunities.
- Ensure workflow and process documents are current and kept up-to-date.
- Process and maintain paper and electronic filing systems
- Handle incoming and outgoing post
- Maintain/update regular stock-take
- Able to work independently; at times you may be the only person in the office
- Any other duties, as required.

**Skills/Experience and Education**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
