**Job Description**:
Are you an experienced Purchasing Assistant looking for an exciting job opportunity?
Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading industry company based in the Stourbridge area.
Due to major business wins, the company are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their growing Purchasing and Procurement team.
Key responsibilities as a Purchasing Assistant:
- Making phone calls to new and existing customers/suppliers.- Data entry.- Raising purchase orders and payment requests.- Managing invoices.- Liaising with the procurement manager, customer services, finance and sales teams.- Freight tracking and import management.Skills & experience required:
- Strong IT skills.- Experience using MRP/ERP systems or something similar.- Experience of international imports and shipping.- Previous purchasing/supply chain experience.- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.- High levels of integrity and professional ethics.You will be working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
£10.26 p/hour.
