**Health and Social Care Senior Claims Advocate, UK based**:
Can you bring a wealth of experience gained handling UK medical negligence and liability claims ? Are you keen to move into a role where you will responsible for all claims related relationship management and advocacy for a varied portfolio of Aon's Healthcare clients focusing on securing the best possible claims outcomes at all times. ? If so, then we want to hear from you in connection with this exciting, brand-new role in our UK claims function that can be based from any of our UK offices and comes with hybrid working too.

**What the day will look like**:
In this wide and varied role you'll use your diplomatic, relationship management, negotiation and technical claims skills to:
- Support clients through large, complex and disputed claims. Advocating for them in meetings with Insurers, Solicitors and other experts
- Provision of detailed Claims MI including identification of concerning trends and risk consulting opportunities
- Working closely with specialist healthcare broking teams, risk consulting and new business teams providing in-depth claims information when required
- Be innovative with new business ideas
- Deliver onboarding and annual claims process workshops
- Continually analysing claims and incidents to identify risk improvements to mitigate future losses and repeat occurrences

This is a brand-new role and thus is an opportunity for you to make it your own. Not only will you be comfortable operating in a technical claims capacity, you'll also be an ambassador for the healthcare team contributing to and sometimes attending new business tenders, renewal submissions and representing Aon at industry functions
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
- 8+ years medical negligence and liability claims experience, you will ideally be a lawyer of have a legal background
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and client care skills
- Knowledge of key terms and contract conditions and a general understanding of legal claims protocols and timelines
- Ability to facilitate, lead and influence in claims meetings with experts, carriers and clients
