**Cost Control and Planning Engineer - Lancashire - Contract - Hybrid working**

SRG are currently looking for a Cost Control and Planning Engineer to join a successful chemicals company based in Lancashire for an initial 6-month contract (with the view of extension). The Cost Control and Planning Engineer will be responsible for monitoringthe delivery of capital projects from initiation to closure.

**Accountabilities**:

- Prepare project plans for all capital projects
- Maintain overall capital delivery plan
- Maintain the sites capital expenditure report
- Use SAP to monitor costs and produce detailed cost reports for each Project Manager and the Site Management Team
- Control procurement and expenditure for major projects

**Criteria**:

- An Engineering background/qualification
- SAP experience
- Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (COMAH, Chemical, Pharma, Oil and Gas etc.)
