**Purchasing Administrator**
My client are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to support the Manufacturing and Quality Department with all purchasingactivities whilst also looking after a broad range of administrative tasks within a small team environment, you will be working with aforward thinking global business and will be supported with qualifications, training and career development as well as a suite of benefits.
PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual will be accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Raising of purchaseordersand sales orders
- Requesting and processing supplier quotations
- Developing current and new supplier relationships
- RaisingPOsand chasing their progress/delivery dates
- Trackingsupplier performance(on time deliveries)
- Taking careof BoMchanges as required
- Assisting withpreparinginternational orders (CofCs, labellingetc.)
- Ensuring the best quality andcost areachieved
- Day-to-day contact with suppliers and resolving any PO relatedissues
- Providing updates on part deliveries to Manufacturing and Engineering
- Purchasing administrative tasks
- Performingany other duties as required
PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The individual must at a minimumpossesses the following:
- At least1year experiencein administration or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
