Head of Quality and Compliance Automotive

**Head of Quality and Compliance Responsibilities**:
You will have responsibility for leading our strategic approach and maintaining relevant industry regulations including (not limited to); Document Control, Risk Management, Auditing, Non Conformities and Foreign Objects Detection, driving improvements and metricsacross key indicators to ensure the business understands and meets its compliance obligations for Unipart Logistics, our client, and other related regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for leading and coordinating improvement activities, on behalf of Unipart, with the relevant external bodies in the event major non-conformances occur.
**Your key responsibilities will be linked to the following areas**:
- Quality strategy
- Quality systems
- Compliance
- Premises and equipment
- Operations
- Transport
- Risk management
- Managing 3rd party contractors / suppliers
- Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)
- Self-inspection / auditing
- Change control
- Complaints, returns, non-compliant products and product recalls
**Head of Quality and Compliance Requirements**:
- Experience of delivering Operational Excellence / Lean / Continuous Improvement with data analysis and people engagement to drive tangible results - if you’ve done this in a number of different sectors it would be an advantage (Aerospace / Aviation, Automotive,Consumer, Defence, Health, Technology)
- Experience of delivering focused improvement events
- Knowledge of the latest warehousing and distribution best practices and emerging concepts and solutions from across the logistics industry
- Experience of coaching and mentoring people
- Track record of influencing internal people and at all levels to drive change
- Excellent communication skills - spoken, written, and presenting
- Minimum of Six Sigma Green Belt - Black Belt certification would be an advantage
- Experience of working with and implementing digital capabilities (particularly RPA, Automation, Cobots and data science technologies; AR/VR, IoT, Big Data, Simulation, Machine Learning etc) would be a big advantage

**Salary**: up to £70,000 per annum dependent upon experience
