**Job overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and highly organised administrator to be part of the infection prevention and control team within the Northern Care Alliance.

You will need to be organised, proactive, display a high standard of communication skills, work as part of a team and manage your own workload.

You will be part of a site-based team working from the Oldham care organisation but may be required to provide support across the NCA reporting to the lead nurse for the care organisation.

**Main duties of the job**:
To provide a full range of administrative, data collection and secretarial support for the infection prevention and control team.

The post holder will assist with accurate and timely collation and monitoring of data.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and can work independently using their own judgement where appropriate.

The post holder will need to display confidence and be proficient in using a wide range of IT systems such as Microsoft teams, Excel and Word.

The post holder will be required to attend meetings, be competent in minute taking, agendas, action logs and be able to type these are circulate them timely.

**Essential criteria**:

- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent A-C grade.
- Qualification or relevant experience displaying a high standard of IT skills, including keyboard skill, minute taking and the use of several Microsoft packages including excel and teams.

**Knowledge, skills, training and experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Significant experience in an administration role.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to converse and communicate with a range of colleagues and professionals internally and with partner organisations.
- High standard of organisation skills. Ability to prioritise one’s own workload according to priorities and meet deadlines accordingly, whilst working within individual capabilities.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work. Responds appropriately and efficiently to changing priorities within the organisation

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of trust hospital database systems such as PAS and LABCENTRE- Ability to access and navigate a range of systems to collate accurate data.
