At Keane Premier Support Services, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our caring and dedicated social support team in the South Lanarkshire area. The vacancy will support a service user in their own home on a 1:1 basis. This post would be ideal to someone who is looking to make a difference and be part of this exciting transition and is particularly interested in home making.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Offering 1:1 positive behavioural support to a service user
- Assisting the service user with activities such as painting
- Encourage service users keep fit and healthy - for example going out a walk or going to the shops
- Participating in the implementation and monitoring of individual support plans
- Providing support in all aspects of personal care (when required)
- Promoting independence by assisting with housekeeping duties
- Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required
- Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users
- Encourage the relationships that the service users have with family, friends, and wider community
- Maintain the service user’s well-being
- Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly
- At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner

Shift Patterns:

- Dayshift: 8am - 8pm
- Backshift: 8pm - 8am
