**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title**: Hotel Administrator (Finance)
**Hours**: 40 hours per week
**Location**: This role will be predominantly based in Malone Hotel Belfast
**Travel**: As required dependent on business needs
**Reporting**: Hotel Directors
**Purpose**: To provide in-house finance function.

**About The Role**

**HOTEL FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To establish and build effective relationships with staff and management at all levels.
- Carry out preliminary payroll process reconciliations on a weekly basis & produce staff hours report. Query any hour’s issues/discrepancies. Keep record of annual leave hours, prepare new start and leaver forms, record sickness and receive sick lines. Liaise with Head Office for monthly processing.
- Be responsible for gathering and collating purchase order, delivery dockets, supplier invoices and checking prices match agreed pricing schedules. Ensure that all necessary documents are signed and collated before sending to Head Office for processing. Follow up discrepancies and dealing with queries.
- Carry out daily audit and review of cash ups and bank lodgements.
- To prepare a weekly change order.
- To manage bank receipts, payments received to ensure they are posted to relevant accounts.
- To manage the aged debtors report, ensuring that payments are received in line with company contract terms and conditions.
- To assist in the budgeting process for the property.
- To perform related duties and specific projects as assigned by Senior Management to contribute to the overall aims of The Macklin Group.

**Required Criteria**
- GCSE English & Math’s or equivalent

**Desired Criteria**
- Previous Finance administration experience
- Proven experience of the provision of quality finance administration support
