Smiths Manchester are looking to hire an Office Administrator.
Working 3 or 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. Flexi time available if necessary.
**Responsibilities**:
File and maintain organised records both electronically and physically.
Proactively chase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Answer phone calls and provide excellent phone etiquette
Read and analyse reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
Provide administrative support to the service center manager, warehouse and sales team.
Follow up with customers to chase outstanding payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.
Coordinate courier deliveries.
Perform general office maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and organised work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration or a similar role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10,600.00-£20,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 per week
