Our client, an exceptional provider are inviting a Team Leader to become a part of their residential children’s home situated in the heart of Salisbury.

The client takes pride in curating nurturing and personalized residential environments for young individuals aged 7-18, who have faced formidable challenges in their early years.

Staff will find themselves amidst a group of empathetic, child-centered adults, all dedicated to delivering the finest possible experiences for their cherished children and young people. Additionally, you will be seamlessly integrated into a larger collective, benefiting from the comprehensive array of services, including collaboration with Clinical and education associates.

Their specialty lies in trauma-informed care, as they meticulously follow their therapeutic model to facilitate transformative change in the lives.

We are searching for individuals committed to making a meaningful impact on young lives, demonstrating patience and resilience even during the most testing times.

As the role of Team Leader, you will become an integral part of various events and activities including:

- Participating in thrilling adventures like kayaking, rock climbing, and beach escapades, along with artistic pursuits and forest expeditions.
- Serving as a role model, offering guidance and encouragement to help our children make sound choices.
- Engaging in diverse tasks encompassing house upkeep, meal preparation, skill acquisition such as nutritional meal planning, first aid, Health & Safety, gardening, and beyond.
- Progressing professionally as a children’s support worker through the Level 4 apprenticeship in residential childcare.
- Charting a clear path for career advancement and personal growth.

This role entails occasional overnight stays in the home, averaging between 2 and 3 "sleep-ins" per week. These efforts are compensated with an additional £50 per night. For those who complete nine sleep-ins per month, a potential extra income of £4500 annually could pave the way for a well-deserved vacation.

Strong written, verbal, and IT communication skills are prerequisites for this position. An appreciation for fun and a profound understanding of play's significance in the lives of children are essential qualities. Holding a Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce or its equivalent is mandatory, and you will be fully supported in achieving their Level 5 Qualifications. Ideally, possessing a valid driver's license and being at least 19 years of age would be advantageous.
