Payroll Specialist - The Role
- Checking on all payroll input
- Sending of payment for 3rd Party suppliers
- Processing all bonuses, commissions (where applicable) and other pay variables
- Responsible for starter and leaver changes
- Keeping updated with HMRC/Payroll legislation changes throughout the year
- Being the point of call for all payroll queries
**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- A strong understanding of UK Payroll
- Processing volume of approx. 1000 - 3000 staff (can consider lower)
- Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of tax and employment law as it relates to payroll
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software (Excel)
- Able to adhere to a flexible hybrid working
- Happy to work within the Bracknell area
**What's on Offer**:
- Salary approx. £35,000 - £37,500 per annum (DOE)
- Hybrid working pattern (approx. 2 days WFH past probation)
