**Hours of work**: 15 hours per week (3 shifts over 7 days) Salary: £24,000 with progression up to £26,500 per annum (pro-rata) Service opening hours: Monday to Friday: 6pm - 11pm and Saturday and Sunday: 1pm - 11pm. We provide services across England, from Northumberland to Plymouth, led by a highly motivated and enthusiastic workforce who are committed to delivering the best quality services to those in need of support. North West Virtual Haven is a virtual out of hours crisis service supporting people through listening and signposting by telephone or video call. We support residents in Knowsley, Halton, St Helen's and Warrington. We work in conjunction with Mid Mersey Crisis Response team supporting people aged 16 and over.

We are a small, supportive team based across the country. This can be a challenging role, however the work is fulfilling and valuable. Everything about MHM is people focused, our people are central to delivering the highest quality of service and care to our clients and service users. About the role As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will be required to provide a high quality, recovery focused service to our clients who have a range of mental health and autistic traits as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion.

With experience of working within a community based, mental health setting, you should be able to inspire, engage and motivate people. With the proven ability to identify barriers, understand need and support people to achieve their goals the role will include one to one engagement, facilitating activities within the service, administrative tasks, signposting and engaging people in other provision. You will work to achieve the best person-centred care with the patient for their recovery, whether that be joint working with other services to support them to make reasonable adjustments or facilitate patients learning and practising new skills. - You will be part of a small team supporting people by phone or video call.
- We are a non-clinical service, providing support to reduce immediate distress to those at risk of self-harm, suicide or experiencing trauma. - Our service provides information, safety planning and signposting for clients, their families and carers to meet their holistic needs. - You will work closely with mental health primary and secondary care, emergency services, partners agencies. About you You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people and have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills.

This will include one to one engagement, signposting and engaging people in mainstream provision. You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required for the role. It is essential that you hold a Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires.
