The role holder will play a key role in the Transformation of TUI, working on an exciting technology change project that spans twelve of TUI’s operating countries. You will help TUI to maximise the significant opportunities available from working together across all our Markets to become more efficient, drive more business value, and ultimately to provide our customers with fantastic experiences.
The Programme Lead role (known internally as Business Development Lead) will be accountable for the successful definition, planning and delivery of key technology capabilities and projects needed to achieve TUI’s target outcomes. You will ensure that all people, process and technology changes needed to support the successful delivery of your roadmap are in place and that there is alignment on shared processes and capabilities between all markets.

You will work with an international set of stakeholders to ensure their business needs are met whilst at the same time influencing to ensure their buy-in to new ways of working. You will continuously provide input and requirements to the technical Product Owners and support the prioritisation of their roadmaps, setting the scope for technology change. You will stay close to the operational and commercial performance of capabilities you deliver to ensure you understand where things can be further improved in each market.

You can work from any of our main European offices which are located in UK, Germany, Nordics, Belgium or Netherlands - all offices offer hybrid ways of working.

ABOUT THE JOB

**Business Change Vision & Leadership**: Working within the Central Markets team and senior business and technology leaders, you will champion the delivery of technology change across the markets.

**Solution & Requirements**: You will require a good understanding of both business process and technology, allowing you to understand the potential technology provides to transform the customer offering. In definition of solutions and requirements you will focus on improving flexibility, increasing automation and generating value for the customer. You will be working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts within the delivery teams to define and feed in requirements to their backlogs.

**Stakeholder Management**: Significant changes will be required across Markets to how we work today. To ensure the roadmap of change is delivered effectively, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within all Markets which are built on mutual trust and credibility. Working across our three regions incorporating twelve markets you will work with our senior stakeholders to outline the case for change, the steps needed to get there and the support required from them to realise the changes.. You will need to communicate at all levels to ensure that there is a common understanding of the capabilities being delivered, ensuring that all parties are aligned behind this, and able to commit the times & resources needed for delivery.

**Governance**: You will work with the local market teams to contribute to delivery of effective governance. You will ensure there is a consolidated plan of the activities required to plan and implement change, and that this is aligned with overall plan and priorities within this.

**Process Change & Alignment**: You are responsible for aligning your processes across the markets to ensure that we are working as efficiently as possible minimising duplication. You will drive for standardisation across markets whilst also ensuring any localisations to support legislation or local commercial benefits are in place.

**Customer Journey**: You will understand the key customer touch points impacted and ensure that you are continuously providing value to customers and removing any pain points in the process. You will continuously balance Customer satisfaction and changes to improve this with any commercial and operational considerations.

**Business Testing**: You will work with the UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Technology Testing, Feature Owners and operational teams to ensure the capabilities you are delivering are tested by the right stakeholders before going live. You will review key defects and support with triaging to understand the impact.

ABOUT YOU

Self-motivated leader who takes the initiative and has experience of driving and delivering change projects and/or improvements
International experience with Airline knowledge highly desirable
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong presentation skills
Proven ability to influence, challenge, engage, negotiate and inspire team members, peers and stake-holders at all levels
Data driven - able to understand what data is important and to use this in decision making to ensure focus is on the highest value features needed
Customer focused - can put yourself in the shoes of customers, are able to recognise and understand different customer types and can assess what customers va
