**About the Trust**

We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff. Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To provide an effective and competent level of secretarial/administration support and consistently deliver a service that promotes good customer service and effective working relationships to the Operational Facilities Team.
- Maintaining and updating the office systems and procedures that support the departments provision of services and functions to the Trust.
- Provide support to the Managers within the Team.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous admin experience
- Previous NHS experience
- Ability to take note and compile reports, short hand writing
- Excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure.
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
