HR and Office Assistant

Reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will support the smooth operation of HR processes and provide administrative support.

Key accountabilities include:
**Human Resources**
- Compiling and maintaining secure digital employee records, including contact/personal information, holiday and sickness leave
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Ensuring good employee communications, including producing monthly staff updates and ensuring support for staff appraisal processes
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to HR
- Managing the external HR and employment law support contract
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

**Administration**
- Diary management for the Managing Director, organising meetings and appointments
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence including through gathering relevant information
- Managing databases and filing systems
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems, including supporting projects to improve the accuracy and efficiency of administrative processes
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- Collating and filing expenses

**Requirements** for the role:
Experience
- Experience in HR, administration or another relevant position

Knowledge and understanding
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practice
- Understanding of, and commitment to, protecting personal information
- Knowledge of standard office and ability to learn new packages
