The Foundational Written Interpretation project is focused on rolling out a written interpretation suite of quality materials to a cohort of our historic houses, and we are looking for a highly creative and collaborative Experiences Producer to join the National Programming and Production team to support its development and delivery.

The role is offered on an 18-month fixed term contract or internal secondment basis.
What it's like to work here:Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. There will be opportunity to travel and visit places as well as co-working at Heelis or other regional hubs.
You’ll be based within a team of Experiences Producers who are part of the Programming and Production team. This team sits within National Visitor Experience Delivery. We focus on developing national scale visitor experiences and supporting our places to deliver them through the creation of products, resources, and training.
What you'll be doing:As an Experiences Producer, you’ll turn concepts into deliverable products or processes. You’ll be responsible for shaping and developing materials for our people and our places, working with people from across the Trust to generate creative ideas and to support the communication of our work.
Primarily focused on the Foundational Written Interpretation project you’ll support the delivery of a suite of interpretation materials to a cohort of our historic houses. The suite has been designed to be informative, high quality and to compliment a range of interior spaces. You’ll work with the matrixed Interpretation Project Team alongside a range of specialists in project management, interpretation, curation, editing and art working; and with external designers and manufacturers.

- Experience working confidently with 2D and 3D designers as well as other key creative and production suppliers to develop, produce and deliver projects.
- Proven track record of managing creative projects that have been delivered to brief, on time and within budget.
- Specific knowledge and experience of working on the development and delivery of interpretation projects and/or exhibition displays.
- Experience of working with environmentally sustainable materials, finishes and understanding of the supply chain.
- Great design and production skills, with an eye for detail.
- A natural collaborator and co-designer, able to bring people together to build positive working relationships and to create great solutions.
- Able to work flexibly and at pace in a highly organised way, contributing to a wide range of creative work through agile ways of working.
- Desire to support a culture of continual learning and improvement within the team, Foundational Written Interpretation project, and wider job family.
