**The Role**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Forming and maintaining employee records
- Updating databases such as sick/holiday leave
- Daily checking and maintaining hourly timesheets for our operational staff
- Processing all new starter documentation, updating the system with employee information, ensuring we have the correct right to work evidence, filing of new starters
- Completing staff references and verification of employment
- Updating staff benefits
- Provide ad hoc admin support on HR Projects
- Assisting the recruitment of new staff

**The Person**

This role will suit a fresh graduate looking to work in HR or a really strong administrator who has plenty of office based experience. Previous HR experience would be beneficial. You will be a positive individual with your glass always half full Key skills required are; good attention to detail and interpersonal skills (with both internal and external stakeholders). You will have the ability to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations. You will be passionate about working for a healthy and sustainable business who is looking to make a difference in the food industry. You must have the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail and strong written and spoken English skills. Because of the nature of the role, you must have excellent communication and collaborative skills, a can-do attitude and above all, an ability to think on your feet. The role is pretty busy so you will need to be able to multi-task whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism. You will be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

**Knowledge/ Qualifications**
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of HR functions, processes, and best practices
- Understanding the implications of working in a HR function
