**Our Opportunity**

Working closely with an HR Consultant, you will further develop your knowledge and experience to provide a comprehensive and responsive service to a range of school and academy clients in respect of low-level employee relations casework.

You will be the first point and provide initial advice and guidance to School Leaders on a broad range of HR issues; including handling casework management, recruitment, attendance management and restructures, seeking guidance from the HR Consultant on more complex matters.

A key aspect of the role will be to develop and maintain effective customer relationships and service by providing proactive and timely solutions to assist the HR Consultant to creatively resolve people management issues within the legal framework and education context.

To succeed in the role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work independently and quickly in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities

You should have a good grasp of HR legislation and employment matters with proven experience in HR, having the confidence and ability to guide our highly valued customers on key human resources processes instilling confidence from the start.

Ideally you will possess previous experience within the education sector, though this position may also suit a professional with a background within the private sector, shared services, Local Authority or Charity.

You must be qualified to at least Level 3 in a CIPD human resources qualification or have sufficient training/experience evidenced in human resources practice.

Travel across the West Midlands will be required where you are responsible for delivering services to Schools/Academies. You will therefore need a full driving licence and your own vehicle.
