**JOB PURPOSE**

Day to day administration support of the Waste Management office including waste collection/order interpretation, processing and reporting, liaising with clients, partners and suppliers, posting and raising invoices and credits.

The role is to work as part of a multi skilled team, reporting to the Financial Director, to provide support to the 2 Directors and Financial Director as well as undertaking customer service, accounts and administration

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (60-80%)**:

- Manual paperwork interpretation and Data Entry on a bespoke database platform and Xero accounts software - a decent speed is required, but attention to detail essential Being able to think widely about processes and consequence and ability to remember details would be helpful.
- Liaise with all clients, customers and waste partners processing collections
- Be pro-active with ideas for accounts and admin efficiency
- You will comply with all the policies of the organisation and ensure that you are aware of and comply with the policies, procedures and practices.

**ADDITIONAL POTENTIAL AREAS (20-40%)**:

- Managing customer access to our online Portal
- Customer support and pricing, in liaison with “Sales Team”
- Support to the Compliance Manager with compliance, accreditations, Waste or other regulatory requirements, including ISO 9000/14000 processes
- Support for Purchase Ledger processing
- Support for Training records
- Other Admin functions

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, paid lunch break.

Ideal experience:

- Customer service or general office accounts/administration: 1 year (preferred)
- a previous role in either manufacturing, distribution or other commercial field (preferred)
- data processing on a computerised platform

Education: GCSE or equivalent (Maths and English Preferred)

Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word - to a basic level

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
