As MS3 Networks continue to grow at a rapid pace, we are now looking to complement our team with the hiring of additional **Lead Fibre Network Designers**

**Do you have exceptional experinece in**:

- Experience in Passive Optical Network design
- Working on and assisting in the management of GIS databases
- Planning in Openreach PIA

Our Lead Fibre Network Designers must be able to commute to East Yorkshie, along with the ability to visit our sites to conduct desgin walk outs. We are unable to offer this as a remote role.

As a Lead Fibre Network Designer, you will be supporting the External Network Planning and Design team by managing design contractors, validating designs out in the field, assisting in developing in-house systems and taking a lead in training junior members in the team.

We are looking for ambitious individuals experienced within the telecommunications industry.

You must be able to undertake site surveys and liaise with Network Planners and the Head of Design along with assisting the construction and build teams with design queries and quality assurance.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- A team player, happy to take on responsibility and perform in an agile working environment.
- Able to maintain and lead relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assessment of CAPEX and OPEX costs, making financial decisions to keep the design and build process moving as smoothly as possible in line with the businesses needs and criteria.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work without direct supervision in terms of planning and prioritising your activities.
- Ability to undertake design walkouts for verification and acceptance.
- Understanding of splicing methodologies, matrixes and fibre troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of civils, avoidance practices and methodologies (desilting, overlays, A55’s TRR practices).
- Planning in Openreach PIA and knowledge of OR engineering principles, rules and restrictions.
- Knowledge of CDM and Health and Safety principles including the NRASWA.
- Strong personal track record of achieving and delivering.
- Driving Licence required.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Desirable is the understanding of OR NOI’s, Network Adjustments and Build Completes.
- Working on and assisting in the management of GIS databases (ArcGIS, QGIS experience desirable).

MS3 is a fibre network operator based in the Kingston-Upon-Hull area with plans to pass over 500,000 homes and businesses with full fibre. As a wholesale-only provider, MS3 will enable its existing and future ISP clients to provide up to 10Gb connections to end-customers, building on their existing fibre ring through Hull and to more than 30 other locations in the region.
