**What you will be doing**

As a member of the Assets Team, you will have an integral role in ensuring that our properties are maintained to a high standard to ensure that customers are happy within their home. You will be responsible for completing Property MOTs to enable us to understand when we will be required to invest in our homes in support of our asset management strategy and delivery of investment programmes. You will be required to complete technical surveys in areas such as damp and roofing, liaising closely with contractors to ensure that works are programmed and delivered to a high standard whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and reducing the risk of disrepair. This role will also be contributing to the achievement of future net zero carbon targets.

You will be based at Calico Head Office, Centenary Court, Croft Street, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 2ED.
Your hours of work would be 36.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
The salary for this role is £33,299 per annum.

**What you will need to be a success**
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a construction trade
- Full Driving Licence with access to a vehicle
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Building Construction, maintenance, and materials; Building Regulations, Planning Policy and Regulations.
- Experience of writing technical reports, design specifications and value engineering in relation to capital replacement/refurbishment programmes, ideally within a social housing environment.
- Experience of working with various stakeholders including internal and external
- Passionate about customer focus and ensuring our customers receive a high standard customer journey from concept to completion.
