Mental Health Support Worker

We are looking for:
- **1 bank support worker for night shifts (8pm-8am) Tuesdays and Thursdays required.**
Our Supported Living Service offers on-site support for up to 13 male residents with menatl health needs, who are being rehabilitated and prepared for independent living.
**The role of Mental Health Support Worker will include**:
- Lone working
- Regular key working and support planning to ensure relevant support is provided for our clients
- Administering medication
- Enabling and encouraging our clients to maximise their own potential and level of independence
- Assessing clients’ needs by writing and updating support plans, and completing risk assessments online
Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the residents, actively encouraging choice and involvement, acting as an advocate when required Sourcing innovative solutions to problems that allow clients’ independence to be enhanced
**Skills and experiences**:
- Experience of working with people who have mental health needs
- Experience in admenistering medication
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- The ability to work on your own initiative
- Experience working within a Supported Living environment is desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar

We support people through supported housing and to move-on accommodation. We specialise in services for males under the age of 65years, with mental health needs and those with dual diagnoses including learning disabilities.
