The Capita Local Government, Housing Benefit Overpayment Recovery Team require a Full Time Recovery Officer to assist with meeting targets in respect of the invoicing and recovery of overpaid Housing Benefit.

Work Location: Home Based

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Pattern: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Progress recovery of overpaid Housing Benefit invoices after the automated recovery cycle has ended
- To organise individual workload to ensure recovery time-scales are met and meet team priorities
- To achieve targets and objectives in line with Performance Management procedures and EG Work Manager
- To complete daily monitoring sheets for Performance Management procedures
- To raise any issues with Team Leader in good time.
- To be aware of health and safety issues
- Understand and promote the company’s Equal Opportunities policy
- Any other duties as required.

**Desired Experience/Skills**:

- Experience working in Housing Benefits or similar area
- English / Maths to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
