**The Role**:
Brook Street are proud to be working in partnership with the Cabinet Office, based in Benton, Newcastle in their search for an Executive Officer / Resourcing, Quality and Guidance Officer.

As part of Recruitment Operations you will work with colleagues across Operations and the wider GBS team to understand their strategic vision and work with them to identify and deliver innovative and timely, quality and guidance solutions.

The Resourcing, Quality and Guidance Team is looking for adaptable and competent individuals to join the team, bringing their systems, process and policy knowledge to enhance the delivery and scope of the team.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Resourcing, Quality and Guidance Officer you will:

- Be a visible and effective leader and role model the Cabinet Office core values;
- provide line management for AOs as required
- support the development of the GRS Quality Assurance Framework and monitoring its effectiveness, for example, through an annual audit schedule and adhoc checks;
- Manage and undertake the control, issue and review of Standard Operating Procedures, together with the maintenance and on-going improvement of the Quality Assurance Framework

**What we are looking for**:

- Ideally have a background in Resourcing or HR delivery, with a knowledge of recruitment systems and processes would be advantageous.
- Have a track record of scoping and delivering priorities with and through others, resulting in innovative, efficient and effective solutions.
- Have experience in working in a fast pace delivery team.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Assignment details**:
Assignment: 3 Months, with a high possibility of extension
Start date -ASAP
Rate of Pay: £12.64 per hour paid weekly in arrears
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday
Location: Benton, Newcastle
Working arrangements: Hybrid working, expected to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
