**PURPOSE**:We have an opening for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team. This role will support the Management Accountant & other members of the team in the day-to-day functions within the Finance Department ensuring adequate control in accounting systems and procedures of A&K.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Processing of direct cost invoices for A&K and C&K brands. This involves checking invoices to the travel booking system and authorising for payment.
- Taking ownership of and liaising with Intercompany entities
- Processing of commission invoices and barter deductions
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Daily exports to upload the invoices on the SUN accounting system.
- Running reports for preparation and creation of weekly payment runs to suppliers.
- Uploading payments to SUN
- To maintain the banking system supplier payment templates, making amendments as necessary, and setting up new instructions confirming bank details with the supplier
- Reconciling supplier statements, allocating supplier accounts, and investigating debit and historic balances
- Reconciling bank statements and revaluation of accounts at month end
- Providing weekly cash flow information for senior management team and creating payments to the Trust Account
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Taking and processing customer credit card payments.
- Provide cover for overhead processing and posting customer bank deposits to the relevant bookings and SUN accounts.
- Assistance at month end, year end and Audit
- Ad hoc projects as may be requested by the Management Accountant or Finance Manager.
